About Me
Commercial and GTM leader for companies that want real results, not fluff.
Welcome, I am Jen Werner.
For more than twenty years, I have led commercial strategy, sales, and Go To Market execution across startup, mid market, and global enterprise. My experience spans media, ad tech, retail, and commerce platforms, where I have built, scaled, and fixed revenue organizations in highly competitive markets.
Today I run J. Werner Consulting, partnering with founders and revenue leaders who want clarity, accountability, and a practical GTM plan that actually gets implemented.
My Story
I started my career inside large media and platform companies, learning how big brands think about growth, risk, and scale. Over time I moved into high growth and startup environments where the stakes were high, the timelines were short, and the playbooks were often unwritten.
In every role, one pattern kept showing up. The companies that grew fastest were not always the ones with the best product. They were the ones with a clear commercial strategy, a focused GTM plan, and leadership willing to make decisions and stick with them.
I created J. Werner Consulting so more teams could access that level of clarity and execution, without waiting to hire a full time CRO or build a large strategy function.
